Case 2010
The Urban Challenge 2010 will focus on Non-motorized Transport with emphasis on Bicycles in Manyatta slum area in Kisumu, Kenya. As the third largest urban centre in Kenya Kisumu has grown from humble beginnings as a railway terminus in 1898 to cover an area of 417km². It has an estimated population of about 500,000.
